  • Q. How does the academic level of CCS compare with other area schools?
    • CCS uses the quality, educationally sound publications from A Beka Book (Pensacola Christian College) and BJU Press (Bob Jones University). Our teachers are certified through AACS and have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree; many have Master's degrees as well. The school’s memberships in SSACS and AACS require continual quality control and performance.
    • CCS is nationally accredited by the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) and is regionally accredited through the North American Christian School Accrediting Agency (NACSAA). NACSAA accreditations are recognized by the state of Florida. CCS has been an accredited school since 1970.

  • Q. How is CCS related to Community Baptist Church?
    • CCS is a ministry of Community Baptist Church. Therefore the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the school are governed by the church and ultimately by the Word of God. The pastor of Community Baptist Church serves as the president of Community Christian School.
  • Q. What kind of recreational facilities does the school offer?
    • The school has two large playgrounds, an outside ball court area, a soccer field, 2 baseball fields, and a full-court gym.

    • CCS uses A Beka Book, BJU Press, Positive Action for Christ, and Saxon publications in grades K2 through 12.‚Äč
  • Q. What grades levels are offered at CCS?
    • CCS offers a six-week old nursery program in preschool and continues through the twelfth grade.
  • Q. Does the school have daycare before and after school?
    • CCS offers daycare before school from 6:30-8:a.m. and after school from 3:15-6 p.m. Year-round childcare is available to all one-year-olds through sixth graders with a minimal number of days closed.

  • Q. How large is your campus?
    • CCS is situated on forty acres. Classrooms are in three large buildings, one each for preschool, elementary and junior/senior high. The gymnasium and lunchroom buildings are connected. A spacious auditorium is attached to the junior/senior high classrooms. All classrooms are spacious and well kept.
