Let's get started...

In order to provide prospective families with a timely response to admission inquiries, CCS follows a simple admission process. Scholarship students follow a slightly modified admission process depending on the type of scholarship and the award process. Our finance office will make scholarship families aware of any important changes or additions to the admission process.

  1. Tour
Please contact the school office to schedule a tour of campus. During the tour, a member of the admissions team will tell you about CCS, answer your questions, give you a student handbook, and discuss the remaining steps in the admissions process.

  2. Application
Please submit to the school office a completed application (Preschool or K5-12) and a $150 application fee for each student. Once we receive your application(s), we will begin the official admissions process.

  3. Additional Application Materials
Submit the following forms/information to the school office:
A copy of state-certified birth certificate
    Health Examination Form
    FL DH-680 Certificate of Immunization
Student Evaluation Form (1 for students entering grades 1 through 3; 2 for students entering grades 4-12)
The evaluation should be completed by a previous classroom teacher.
A copy of custody decree (if applicable)
    IEP/504 plan records (if applicable)

  4. School Records
For prospective students applying to grades 1–12, complete an official records request to be sent by CCS to your previous school.
Grade Records*: For students applying for grades 9-12, an official transcript including all work done for credit should be mailed/emailed directly to CCS from your previous school. If applying for grades 1–8, we just need report cards.
Nationally standardized achievement test scores* (within the past two years): State tests do not satisfy this requirement.
*Homeschooling families should submit a transcript and nationally standardized achievement test scores.

  5. Placement Testing
Next, placement testing will be scheduled at your convenience. Online placement tests take approximately two hours to complete. The $40 testing fee is due when scheduling the appointment.

  6. Admissions Interview
The student and his family will meet with a member of the admissions team to answer some very basic questions about all the admissions paperwork. During this interview, students and parents will have the opportunity to relate why they wish be a part of CCS. Each student will also get to share his salvation testimony (if he has one) and sign the Crusader Standards of Conduct Agreement.

  7. Admissions Decision
Based on the interview, application documents, and space availability, the admissions team will determine if CCS can meet the educational needs of your child(ren) and will inform you of the decision by email and U.S. mail within a week of the admissions interview.
