At CCS, our students are involved in their neighborhoods and communities because of a sincere love for others and the chance to share Jesus. In I Corinthians 13:5, Paul challenges believers to take an interest in others. We want our Crusaders to be willing to "spend and be spent" (1 Cor. 12:15). We want to encourage the CCS family to seek not its own but other's well-being "that they may be saved" (1 Cor. 10:24,33). Involvement in our community will open doors of opportunity, which otherwise may remain closed.
Students in grades nine through twelve who are actively involved in community service opportunities should be sure to maintain a community service record. This record is useful for students who are seeking Bright Futures scholarships within the state of Florida. You can download and print a record from this page to keep track of service hours. If you have questions about community service, please contact the school administrator.
