Let's get started...

In order to provide prospective families with a timely response to admission inquiries, CCS follows a simple admission process. Students with IEPs or 504 plans may follow a slightly different admission process. The admissions team will notify families of any additional steps that are necessary. Please read through this list and click the APPLY NOW button at the bottom to get started.

  1. Tour
Please contact the school office to schedule a tour of campus. During the tour, a member of the admissions team will tell you about CCS, answer your questions, give you a student handbook, and discuss the remaining steps in the admissions process.

  2. Application
Parents of students in K4 or younger should type and print a paper application by clicking on the PRESCHOOL link at the bottom of this list and bring it to the school office.
Parents of students applying for K5 through grade 12 should complete an online SCHOOL application by clicking on the link at the bottom of this list. You will be asked to pay the registration fee and upload the following files/information during the online application process:
    - A copy of state-certified birth certificate
    Health Examination Form
FL DH-680 Certificate of Immunization or Exemption Record
    - recent student portrait
    - completed scholarship worksheet (you can upload a screenshot of the completed form)

  3. References
Ask previous classroom teacher(s) to complete a Student Evaluation Form (1 for students entering grades 1 through 3; 2 for students entering grades 4-12)

  4. School Records
For prospective students applying to grades 1–12, complete an official records request to be sent by CCS to your previous school.
Grade Records: For students applying for grades 9-12, an official transcript including all work done for credit should be mailed/emailed directly to CCS from your previous school. If applying for grades 1–8, we just need report cards.
Nationally standardized achievement test scores (within the past two years): State tests do not satisfy this requirement.

  5. Placement Testing
Next, placement testing will be scheduled at your convenience. Online placement tests take approximately two hours to complete. The $50 testing fee is due when scheduling the appointment.

  6. Admissions Interview
Once we receive your application(s), we will begin the official admissions process. Prospective Crusaders should be certain to read the school handbook before coming to the admissions interview. The student and his family will then meet with a member of the admissions team to answer some very basic questions about all the admissions paperwork. During this interview, students and parents will have the opportunity to relate why they wish be a part of CCS. Each student will also get to share his salvation testimony (if he has one) and sign the Crusader Standards of Conduct Agreement.

  7. Admissions Decision
Based on the interview, application documents, and space availability, the admissions team will determine if CCS can meet the educational needs of your child(ren) and will inform you of the decision by email and U.S. mail within a week of the admissions interview.
