Welcome Back, Crusaders!

     With classes starting on Monday, August 12, it is time to start focusing on preparing for school. This page will point you in the right direction for answers to your most pressing questions. The three most important pages for school families at this point are the following:

  1. Admission Information:
    This page in the Admissions section of the site contains all relevant enrollment and back-to-school links: school supply lists, health examination forms, course selection form, P.E. uniform sheets, medication authorizations, etc. In the red forms box, parents and students can find everything they need to start the year. Please note that all students in grades nine through twelve must complete and submit a course selection form to the office before July 29. 
  2. School Calendar:
    In the About section of the site, you will find the updated school calendar. This calendar provides important information, links, and details about every school event currently scheduled by the administration. If there is a date change, it will show up here. For those who use personal digital calendars, this tool allows for easy integration with your digital device. Remember that CCS follows Manatee County schools for inclement weather closings.
  3. Game Schedule:
    Our Crusaders will also enjoy the game schedule posted under Athletics. This calendar provides updated game times, departure/arrival times, and directions to away games. The calendar also allows integration with personal digital devices. Now our fans will never miss a home game!

     Remember to be here for back-to-school orientation on Friday, August 9. Orientation for PreK (daycare through K4) will be a drop-in format from 3-6 p.m. Orientation for families of students in grades K5 through twelve is a required meeting that will provide important information and paperwork for the first day of school: classroom assignments, schedules, locker numbers, iNow credentials, lunch menus, course handouts, and more will be distributed that night. Families should be in their seats in the auditorium by 6:30 p.m. After an important meeting, classrooms will open for students to meet their teachers and drop off supplies. You won’t be prepared for the first day of school if you miss this important night.
